F.A.Q.
Q: What kind of music do you play?
A: We play contemporary christian music similar to what you would hear on stations such as K-Love. Most of the songs we play are upbeat without having too much of a ‘rock & roll’ sound. Our music appeals to both the young and old and fits into most church worship services.
Q: Are you guys the open door baptist praise and worship team?
A: Yes & no… Currently we are all members of Open door and we are providing much of the praise and worship music on Sunday mornings. In the past we have had band members who were members at other churches. Our church helps support our ministry and we support our church. Check out thier website at: http://www.opendoorbaptistministries.org
Q: What do you charge to play at our church or at our event?
A: Nothing… We feel that this is what God called us to do and He will provide us with the resources to do it. We all have normal jobs and dont expect to do this for a living. Love offerings are always welcome to help pay for gas and the wear & tear on our equipment.
Q: Do you have a local ministry (or platform) you support?
A: We are all very involved in a ministry called Celebrate Recovery. We have a heavy burdon on our hearts for everyday people who struggle with lifes hurts, hangups, habbits, and addictions. You can read all about this amazing ministry HERE
Q: I really like a certain song you do. Where can I get a recording of it?
A: We currently do not have any CDs. Almost all of the songs we play are written and performed by artists that have recording contracts. We would encourage you to support the original artist and purchase a copy of the original version of the song. In most cases our version isn’t that different than the original.
Q: I noticed there are no guitar amps on stage; What gives?
A: The guitars are run through guitar amp modlers. They go directly to the sound system with “simulated” amp and effect rigs. This keeps down on stage clutter and reduces stage sound. This also gives the people sitting up front a similar experience to the people at the back because they dont have guitar amps pointed directly at them.
Q: If vision comes to our church/event to play can you use our sound system?
A: This is usually pretty difficult because we have some unusual requirements. Running all of the instruments direct and using in-ear monitors creates some monitor mix complications that many churches have difficulty overcoming. Click HERE for more information.
